Hong Kong Theme Parks
As the summers and holidays roll around, parents start to think about some places they can take their kids or where friends can hang out in Hong Kong. While there isn’t an abundance of theme parks to choose from, there are quite a few popular ones that are worth going to. Among a few are Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park (the two most notable ones and now with Water World in September), Snoopy’s World, Noah’s Ark, Super Park, and Core Aqua Park.

Hong Kong Disneyland
Hong Kong Disneyland is the largest theme park in Hong Kong and, needless to say, is part of the world-famous Disneyland franchise that suits kids and adults alike. From extravagant parades and rides to top-notch food options, it is the perfect option for a family outing or a place for friends to have fun. Hong Kong Disneyland is no short of rollercoasters and stage shows that will most definitely get your adrenaline pumping and heart skipping of joy.
Prices: Starts at $639 HKD with many package deals for extra. Annual passes are available.

Ocean Park is a marine mammal park, oceanarium, animal theme park, and amusement park, the second-largest theme park in Hong Kong. The current park covers more than 915,000 square metres of land and features a diverse selection of world-class animal attractions, thrill rides, and shows divided between The Waterfront and The Summit. Ocean Park can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from thrill-seekers to animal lovers.
Some of the rides you should try out here include the Sky Gondola, Ocean Theatre, and Hair Raiser roller coaster. If it interests you, definitely visit one of the museums and look at the majestic Asian animals. Visit at the right time, and you’ll even get to enjoy the iconic dolphin show!

Water World is not officially opened until September 21st, 2021! They offer 27 attractions within 5 different zones; Splendid Reef, Torrential River, Hidden Village, Adventure Coast, and Thrill Valley. The water park does not require visitors to be vaccinated against Covid-19, however, it is very much encouraged.
Prices: Starting at $225 for kids aged between 3 to 11, $320 for adults (prices may vary depending on seasonality and days of the week)
As can be understood by the name Snoopy’s World or Snoopyland, Snoopyland is an amusement park based on the famous cartoon character Snoopy in New Town Plaza mall. Besides Snoopy, you can also enjoy Charlie Brown and the Peanuts. The entire Snoopy’s World incorporates various amusement zones such as the Snoopy House, Peanuts Academy, Canoe Ride, Peanuts Dugout, Peanuts Boulevard, and much more. In these zones are plenty of free rides and attractions like a playground that you can enjoy. There is also a 4.5-meter tall Snoopy House at the entrance to the playground that serves as a museum dedicated to all the Peanuts characters. It is the perfect place to spend an afternoon especially shopping at the mall and wanting to entertain younger children.

Noah’s Ark Hong Kong Theme Park is the world’s first full-scale Ark replica. It is a world-class tourist attraction for visitors to bond with nature, to experience fun and educational activities that lend insight with life-size statues of animal pairs in a verdant garden around a colossal park, plus an adventure area. Noah’s Ark includes an Ark garden, Ark expo, Adventureland, Ark Life education house, Treasure House, e-Planet, Playland, and mini bicycle track.
Besides the Ark attraction itself, there are hotels, villas, summer camps, dining, and shopping options. With great food, amenities, and views, it can be the perfect getaway for all ages alike.
Prices: One-day tickets are $48 for adults (ages 18-59), $38 for seniors (ages 60 and older), $25 for youths (ages 13 to 17) and $15 for children (ages 5 to 12). Children under age 5 are free

SuperPark is a new all-in-one indoor activity park with three themed areas that offer over 20 fun, healthy, and energizing activities for all ages. The colorful indoor activity park features trampolines, foam pits, basketball nets, zip lines, and more. Its large spacious area can hold up to 1000 people, perfect for birthday parties or any special events you would like to host. Also, with its wide array of activities to choose from, the experience will be one of unstoppable fun no matter your age or taste.
The park is split up into 3 distinct areas: Adventure Arena, Game Arena, and Freestyle Hall. The Adventure Arena includes trampolines, zip lines, slides, play towers, and a pedal car racing track, etc. The Game Arena consists of baseball nets, basketball hoops, mini-golf, bowling, dodgeball, plus many more sports games. Core Aqua Park
According to Core’s website, Core is a multi-purpose, state-of-the-art community center where you can connect with your peers, learn something new, expand your opportunities, all while having fun. Core is the only aqua park in Hong Kong where they intend to be the cutting edge of aquatic fun and games. Their inflatable water park creates a fun and exciting adventure playground for summer entertainment. The park includes huge water slides, trampoline-style devices, slip and slide runways, and other suitable attractions for everyone. Besides the aqua float park, they also have wakeboarding and lake view barbeque amenities you can enjoy.
